Delete your account

Copycat is an app by Bonart Labs. You can delete your Copycat account at any time. This page explains how, what we delete and what we keep.

In the app

Open the Copycat app and sign in. Open your Profile, tap the Settings gear, then tap Delete account. The app explains what happens. Tap Delete account again to confirm.

Without the app

Email hello@copycat.cash from the email address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account.

Withdraw your money first

An account that still holds money cannot be deleted. First stop copying every trader, sell your open positions and withdraw your money to another wallet. The app shows what is left and the next step.

We ask for this because deleting your account also deletes your sign-in, and after that the wallet created for you can no longer be opened.

What happens right away

As soon as you ask, your copies stop and your subscriptions stop renewing. If people subscribe to you, they lose access. Your profile is removed from the leaderboard and from search.

What we delete

Within fourteen days we delete your personal data: your email address, your name and username, your profile photo and bio, your devices and notification settings, the feedback and screenshots you sent, and your referral codes and links. We also delete your sign-in.

When it is done, we send one email to your address to confirm.

What we keep

We keep the financial records the law requires, such as trades, fees, deposits, withdrawals and subscription charges. We keep them without your name, your email address or anything else that identifies you.

Transactions on a blockchain are public and permanent. Nobody can delete them, including us.
